This Port Jefferson bar is using its space to help families hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.
Beginning of this month, Grumpy Jack’s set up collection boxes for canned goods and other nonperishables that will be donated to Port Jeff’s Infant Jesus Church.
So far, one full box has already been sent over to the parish.
Grump Jack’s manager Trevor Deery said the church still needs tuna, jelly, bread, mac and cheese, and toilet paper.
To donate, you can drop off these goods at 28 Oakland Avenue daily from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
