Ward Melville High School students and staffers took time out of their Tuesday to remember and honor the memories of those who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The group headed out to in front of the school on Old Town Road in Setauket, where they set up a flag display on the lawn and along the roadway.

“The patriotic display of tribute was put together with the help of teachers John Williams, Mark Suesser and Steve Rogers, buildings and grounds staff members, as well as students involved with the school’s stage crew and the Iron Patriots robotics team,” said a school spokesman.
